The new TVC for Tetley Super Green with of Tata Global Beverages has light-hearted touch to it. The film highlights the super human expectations each of us face every day and how Tetley is the super hero of all green teas. The Tetley Super Green range has introduced 2 ranges Boost – a blend of lime and mint green tea with vitamin B6 to help reduce tiredness and fatigue, and Immune – a mix of citrus and honey green tea with Vitamin C, to help support the immune system.
The ad begins with a woman asking Ganguly’s wife why she needs Tetley Super Green Tea and Mrs Ganguly replies since people still treat her husband Sourav Ganguly like the ‘Prince of Kolkata’. The film continues to show a series of situations where Ganguly is still expected to ‘be the person he once was’.
The ad ends with Ganguly enjoying his Tetley Super Green with the message conveyed that a person with super human expectations requires a super green tea. It is supported by the fact that normally on daily basis ordinary people, are constantly faced with super human expectations, and hence they need a little extra from the products they consume to live up to them.
